Barns for Sale

Barns are purchased then they are dismantled according to the customer's need. Barn frames are bents, purlins, and rafters. Generally, our barn wood inventory consists of frames, since the old siding, flooring, and roof boards are used for flooring, doors, furniture, and cabinetry. Rarely do we include sill beams or sleepers (the first flooring system) as they are the largest victims of rot and decay. Barn frames that are subject to decay are discarded and substitute pieces are used from other frames. Barn frames are tagged, mapped and blueprinted for delivery. Most frames are a combination of hand-hewn/rough-sawn mix. Combining salvagable pieces from deteriorated barns can also be used to create a custom frame.
